This is algorithmic thinking: plan the steps, run them, spot the bug, fix it. It’s exactly what pupils practise in our coding programmes, with real robots on the table.

STEM Education is one of the five areas of the redeveloped Primary Curriculum. We help schools bring it to life in the way that suits them: our tutors, our Young Engineers kits, lessons matched to each class level, and no equipment to buy.

STEM Academy Ireland is the official Young Engineers® partner for County Wicklow. Young Engineers was founded in 2008 and runs in over 100 countries, teaching engineering, science and coding through its learning-by-making approach.
We bring that curriculum to Wicklow’s children through our Tech Hubs, local primary schools and community programmes, and we want STEM to be open to every learner, including neurodiverse and underserved communities.
Young Engineers is officially recognised by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the European Union Commission.
